Photograph from a reenactment at a logging camp at Collier Logging Museum in Klamath County, Oregon logging show. Vintage logging tractor taken during the annual logging demonstration at Collier Museum in Oregon. At the Oregon State Park, Collier museum. Railroad buffs will enjoy learning about the role the railroad played in logging. You can imagine the rugged woodsmen and the immense task of moving raw timber with innovation and brute force. The historic cabin village within the museum gives you another insight into how these families once lived. Once a year, the park sponsors a day with presentations, running some of the old logging machines and vehicles, and real live trained conductors and machine operators who cut wood for the visitors. You will also see metal workers, horse drawn carriages, people dressed the era and taste wonderful country cooking.
