This is my rendition of the Vincent VanGogh flowers of “Vase with Zinnias and Other Flowers” with just a few more of my flowers in it painted with Acrylic Paints. Vincent VanGogh completed this piece in 1886 when he went to Paris and lived with his brother Theo who was an art dealer. Vincent spent the summer painting still life and explored the darker palette of his Dutch origin and explored color theory.

I am predominantly a self-taught artist and photographer who has lived in Oregon for 20 years and just recently relocated to the Appalachian mountains of Western Maryland. Now with less dogs (we had six!) and my husband retired, he and I spend many of our vacations RVing and camping.
